Marilies RETTIG represented the North America-Caribbean Region on the Executive Board of Education International. She resigned from the board after being appointed to the position of Deputy General Secretary with the Elementary Teacher's Federation of Ontario (ETFO), effective from March 1st 2008. Her replacement will be confirmed by the 32nd Executive Board meeting in September 2008.
