Timo Linsenmaier (Professional Assistant)

Timo Linsenmaier is a Professional Assistant in EI's Communications Unit. He joined EI after working for UNICEF in Russia.
Timo studied media theory and visual communication at Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (HfG), where he also gained his first web experience as the university's webmaster. After two years as exchange student at the State Russian Film School (VGIK) in Moscow, studying film and animation history, he graduated with a thesis on Soviet animation. He went on to study Business Administration at a joint programme of the University of Magdeburg and the State Academy of National Economy in Moscow. For his MBA thesis, he analysed the economic policies of the Russian government.
In his spare time, Timo serves as webmaster for the Society for Animation Studies, a scholarly organisation dedicated to the study of animation history and theory.
