Marie Clarke is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Education, University College Dublin, Ireland. She is a past President of the Irish Federation of University Teachers (IFUT) having served a two-year term from 2011-2013. She lectures in the areas of curriculum studies, mentoring studies, followership, education history/policy, higher education and quantitative research methods. She is published internationally and nationally in each of these areas. She was appointed Head of the School of Education, UCD for a four-year term 2007-2011 and is a member of UCD Governing Authority.
