Protiva Kundu leads research on government financing of education at the Centre for Budget and Governance Accountability (CBGA), a think tank based in New Delhi. Prior to joining CBGA, she has worked as an Economist at the Policy Group of Infrastructure Development Finance Company Ltd. (IDFC) and as a Consultant at the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy (NIPFP). She has a Ph.D. and an M.Phil. degree in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University and a Master's degree in Economics from University of Calcutta.
