PhD in Equity and Innovation in Education (University of Santiago de Compostela), Educational Technology Unit of the Institute for the Future of Education. Member of the National System of Researchers of Uruguay in Social Sciences-Communication and Media. Her lines of research address the study, development and adoption of educational technologies in higher education, with an emphasis on open education. UNESCO Chair in Open Education (Uruguay), she is a member of the LATAM Regional Node of Open Education Global, the Open Education for a Better World Advisory Board, and is a Fellow of the Global OER Graduate Network (GO-GN).
