Helge Wasmuth ( [email protected]) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Early Childhood and Childhood Education at Mercy College. His scholarly research interests include the history of, and postmodern perspectives on, early childhood education, and the impact of the Global Education Reform Movement on early childhood education. He is a renowned expert on Friedrich Fröbel and will be featured in a documentary on the history of kindergarten and Friedrich Fröbel.
