A secondary school teacher with experience of adult education classes, Rossella has been a member of the executive board of the UILSCUOLA trade union, responsible for international relations, since 2010. Since 2012, she has represented UILSCUOLA on the education group of the Trade Union Advisory Committee to the OECD. Since 2015, she has chaired the equality committee of the European Trade Union Committee for Education (ETUCE), the European region of Education International. She participates as an expert in European Commission working groups on adult education, the values of citizenship, and tolerance. She was also a member of the administration committee of Eurofound, representing the three Italian trade union confederations (UIL, CGIL and CISL), from 2016 to 2019.
