Annual meeting of EI Regional Coordinators with Head Office staff takes place in Brussels
All of the EI regional coordinators were in Brussels this week for the now annual get together with their counterparts in Head Office.
They attended a series of meetings daily, during the course of a busy week, which considered all aspects of their work over the past year and focussed, in particular, on programs and activities planned for the period up to the World Congress in Cape Town next year.
There was a special session on Congress itself at which they were advised about the arrangements which had been made for the Congress, and discussed the issues which were likely to be on the Congress agenda.
The purpose of these meetings is to facilitate collaboration and cooperation between the staff in the Head Office and in the regional and sub-regional offices throughout the world. The meetings also provide an opportunity for all of the EI secretariat to coordinate their approach to policy and program work and to assist each other with advice and practical suggestions about their effective implementation.
