Call for nominations for the UNESCO-Japan Prize on Education for Sustainable Development
The call for nominations is opened for the first edition of the UNESCO-Japan Prize on Education for Sustainable Development, honouring outstanding efforts of individuals, institutions, organisations or other entities engaged in education for sustainable development activities.
Funded by the Government of Japan, the Prize consists of three annual awards of $50,000 (around €46,500) for each winner.
Nominations should be submitted to UNESCO by governments of Member States and non-governmental organisations in official partnership with UNESCO. The deadline for nominations is 31 May 2015.
Education International invites member organisations and all education personnel to disseminate this information widely to give all potential candidates the opportunity to participate.
