Susan Hopgood: Looking to the next four years
The 7th World Congress officially opened with around 1,700 participants, who celebrated past accomplishments of the organisation and looked to the next four years.
During her President Address, Susan Hopgood, emphasised that, "we must be vigilant and strong in the defence and promotion of our values," during the next four years.
She also took a strong stance on the environment, stressing that all members of Education International must take an interest to "confront the global challenge".
