January 24 is the International Day of Education, a day of celebration and a day of action for the fundamental right to education. This year, Education International is placing the spotlight on the global teacher shortage and poor working conditions putting the right to education at risk. The latest edition of Education International's Global Status of Teachers Survey to be released on January 24 provides further insight into this crisis, as well as vital recommendations on how to address it. What’s more, we are celebrating 2 years of our global Go Public! Fund Education campaign which is engaging member organisations worldwide.
