Objetivos
The objectives of the network are:
- To enable young educator unionists to network with their peers in EI member organisations in the region;
- To support the renewal of education unions in the region to enable them to become strong, independent and representative unions, capable of representing teachers and education support personnel effectively;
- To help the unions to recruit more young people, to organise and mobilise young members for the improvement of their rights;
- To be advocacy champions for the achievement of quality public education for all in Africa.
Actividades
1.To produce a documentary on Young Educators’ participation in union activities and the union structures.
2. To hold A Webinar on the UN Secretary General’s High Level Panel Recommendations on the Teaching Profession
3.To organise a Leadership training to build the capacity of young teachers and education support personnel unionists to lead and engage effectively in union activities and programmes.
