Descripción
The E4SD Project for 2024 in the South East Asian sub region will focus on the nexus of climate change and gender justice, and with a view of highlighting Indigenous Peoples' struggles. The climate repository website and the national climate action plans for unions will be the priority for 2024 work along with webinars, surveys, advocacy and media tools.
Objetivos
- To produce a survey and critical analysis of barriers and opportunities in adopting an intersectional and feminist climate change education curriculum in the Asia Pacifc region
- To disseminate outcomes of the research and plan action based on the research findings
- To gather union members and leaders across the Southeast Asian sub-region to strengthen capacities, develop strategies and identify key opportunities for engagement to push the climate justice and just transition agenda
- To support EIAP affiliates in implementing their own national action plans for climate action
- To provide a platform on climate justice and just transition issues within the context of gender justice issues in Southeast Asia and contribute a climate action lens to the EIAP Womens Network Conference
- To develop advocacy materials such as videos, pamphlets,flyers and social media kits
- To provide a regular source of climate change news and opinion pieces to union members
